For empath & psychic Colleen Rae, energy has always been her first language, the way she knew people and everything else in her world. Her first memory of spontaneous energetic healing comes from when she was eight and a neighbor boy was hit by a car. Because of her grandmother's psychic ability, she never questioned any of this, thinking, as children do, that that's how the world worked. Only in her early 20s did a friend clue her in that not everyone thought they were communicating telepathically all the time. She still gets frustrated having to say everything in the slower and more confusing mode of spoken communication. She traces her blank mind to this and has often joked that the best way to teach meditation might be to put people in a room with a bunch of psychics and empaths. "We become very careful what we carry in mind and body when those around us can pick up our thoughts and our body's feeling states."
For nearly five years, Colleen co-facilitated a Paranormal Experiences Group at the famous in Durham, North Carolina, where she was a subject & research assistant testing other psychic subjects in the RRC's innovative extra-sensory perception (ESP) research started by J.B. Rhine at Duke University in the 1930s. She captured this world in her book, Tales of a Reluctant Psychic, and continues to share her knowledge of this realm in her curriculum.Colleen enjoys mentoring psychospiritual journeys and helping people become more comfortable with their own psychic & empathic gifts. She is just as comfortable working with clients on the telephone as in person, and she can also help clients through Soul Therapy. With her medical intuition skills, Colleen reads the body states of others and often receives messages about her client's health. And with her empathic and psychic gifts, she is able to help others become aware of messages they may be keeping out of consciousness. She can also help facilitate a theta state through resonance with her frequency, which can enable others to become more receptive to their own inner wisdom as well as the messages from their own higher wisdom. Although she doesn't work specifically as a medium or a channel, it is not uncommon for loved ones to show up or for messages to come through when Colleen's doing a psychic reading. From the time she was a small child, she's been able to see the past lives of others, so her work often takes her into the realm of reincarnation.
An avid practitioner of Tantra Yoga, she enjoys teaching others about Spiritual Orgasm. She's recently completed a movie script, Zero Point, that brings tantric bliss together with the worlds of Tesla, Big Bang astrophysics, parapsychology & high energy medicine in a "save the world" high action thriller.
