I've come to think of myself as a "trance therapist" (like trance surgeons, with equally fast & curative results). It's amazing even to me how fast people are able to make change in this way.
I’ll give an example. Before meeting with a client, I always do a pre-session where I sit down with pen and paper and let the Group, as I’ve come to call them, guide me toward the problems. Often this takes the form of doing a medical intuitive scan. With one client, I’ll call her, Joan, I got the impression of quivering in her thighs.
What condition, though, could cause quivering in the thighs?
During our first telephone session, I said to Joan, “This may sound silly, but do your thighs ever quiver?”
No. She couldn’t think of anytime her thighs quivered. So we moved on.
But just moments later, she said, “I know what your talking about. Sometimes I grab my thighs and shake them and say, ‘I hate you, I hate you, I hate you.’ ”
This was one of the most startling moments I've ever had in a session. To me it was a wondrous example of how the Group guides me to just the information I need to most help the client through just these things that seem the most "illogical." Joan’s "quivering thighs" led us into some deep and meaningful terrain.
And so it goes, day in and day out. They guide me; I listen. Often these days, I’ll be saying one thing to a client, and they’ll stop me mid-sentence with a loud, “Don’t say that. Say this-” I warn my clients about this beforehand so they won’t think I’m too addled.
Most of my work focuses on Spiritual Journey Mentoring, helping people break free from stuck personality patterns that keep them from their path. But what the Group has taught me is that we can’t just get rid of our addictive personality-trance behaviors – that creates a vacuum. Instead, I help my clients learn to replace those behaviors with the positive addiction of the greatest technique they’ve taught me: Joyflow.
The Group has proven to me over and over again the power of Joyflow, not just to change the person, but to change the world – and maybe the universe(s) as well.
For this and so much more they have given me, I am grateful. I feel very honored I get to do this work. |
